A liquor board hearing is scheduled for Monday, June 16th at 2:30 pm regarding yet another liquor store in the Randallstown area - 8516 Liberty Road in the Savory Plaza Shopping Center. Many residents of Hernwood and neighboring communities flooded the office with letters of opposition. The hearing will be held in the Jefferson Building, 105 West Chesapeake Avenue, Room 104, Towson, Maryland 21204.
Campaign 100 + 40 means at least 100 letters written by members of at
least 10 communities in Greater Randallstown and sent electronically to
Mr. Charles E. Klein, Chairman, Board of Liquor License Commissioners,
111 West Chesapeake Avenue, MS 1006A, Room G-14, Towson, MD 21244.
Moreover, I am requesting at least 40 people be present at the hearing.
Thus, each community is asked to send/take at least 4 people. Car
pooling is recommended.
I have written a letter of opposition and ask that you write one, too. We need your letters and your presence to show our serious opposition against opening another liquor store on Liberty Road, west of the beltway.
If you want to see a sample letter, use the Volunteer Form to the right to request a copy.
Yours in service,
Danny Blount, HHCA President
